Disappointment

I met up with Steil at Frankie V's to watch the Wings even the series with the Oilers. Unfortunately, we were unable to see this happen. A couple of defensive breakdowns separated by a lucky goal were all that it took for the Oilers to advance to the next round. It was one of the most heartbreaking exits I've had the displeasure of watching. The Wings had a solid 2 goal lead and were controlling the play for the most part, yet they managed to blow it. Yet another blown first round series against an opponent that they should have beaten.

Oh well, time to don the Sheed jersey and cheer on the team that doesn't disappoint in the first round.
